Last night
We are on our last night in vegas. What a great trip! No gamblin today. We did see an exhibit called 'bodies' at the tropicana. Look it up it was amazing!

Big money
Well not really big money but I did hold my own at the tables last night. $10 blackjack at NYNY then played $1 blackjack at slots-a-fun. I also gave craps a shot...all I can say with craps is easy come easy go! Blackjack went ok. we played for about 3 hours and proke even.

Vegas here we come!
Emily and I are heading to Vegas next week. We will be taking our first trip away from Lane. He will be staying with Bubbie at our house in MI. Everyone is excited for the big holiday week! Be sure to check back next week for updates on our trip.

Opening day
So it is finally here. IKEA detroit. Lane and I have braved the crowd (and the rain) to be one of the first to have the yummy 50¢ macaroni w/cheese. Lane is very excited. More to come.

Back Home
We made it home after a wonderful trip to Washington D.C. We arrived back home this afternoon. I am sorry there were not more posts. After the post on Monday morning my Treo was broken during the tour of the Capitol. I was unable to get it to work (turns out I cracked the screen) Emily didn't have her phone with her and so the posts had to stop. Holiday is over :(
We are back in Detroit tonite. We made it back even with a sick little man on the plane. Lane got really sick this morning with a fever and vomit :-( we are going to be home tomorrow for a recovery day from our holiday. We had a fantastic time! Papa & Bubbie were great hosts. They had a great party for Lane and tons activities to fill our week!

Bubbie took lane for storytime at the bookstore today. Lane is convinced everyone is here just for his birthday!
