we are at lane's first game of the 06 season. tiger's vs. Twins. Lane is torn on who to root for. Maybe just cheer for hotdogs :)

So we are at the Henry Ford Museum today to ride Thomas the train. Lane really just wanted the corn dog...must be my kid!

Holiday is over :(

We are back in Detroit tonite. We made it back even with a sick little man on the plane. Lane got really sick this morning with a fever and vomit :-( we are going to be home tomorrow for a recovery day from our holiday. We had a fantastic time! Papa & Bubbie were great hosts. They had a great party for Lane and tons activities to fill our week!

Storytime

Bubbie took lane for storytime at the bookstore today. Lane is convinced everyone is here just for his birthday!

Birthday walk

Lane is two today! We are out on the town looking for presents! I'll update you on our day more later on. BRING ON THE BIRTHDAY!

The zoo!

We are at the MN Zoo today. Lane is very excited to see all the animals. More to come...

Flying

Lane got to fly the plane most of the way to minneapolis!

Airplanes

Lane is off to minneapolis with dad today. We are about to get on our plane. We will post during our trip what we are up to. Big party tomorrow!

Just my size

Lane found an awesome playground with slides & blocks & tunnels just his size. They also have chocolate milk to drink. It is a coffe shop near us called jungle java. He had fun but it is sort of expensive.

Bummer

Well all the excitement over my ridealong is over. In 8 hours they didn't have a single call. I did get to sit in the helicoptor but no flying. I am going back to try again in May.

New look

Lane and I both got new haircuts today. He called it a 'hair clean-up' He is ready for the party on Saturday!

Medflight Ride-Along

Seth is going to ride along with Midwest Medflight on Wednesday. It is an 8 hour shift from 7 am until 3 pm. Medflight is an aeromedical helicopter running out of St. Joe's Hospital in Ypsilanti, MI. See -- http://www.medflight.org/ I will try to send update photos during the day. Especially some good ones of the helicopter and maybe even some pictures from the sky.

Back home

We r back from the cabin. Early morning left at 5 and lane wore his pj's all the way home. We had a great time.

Calling papa

Lane got a new lion phone today att the store. First thing he said was 'call papa' the phone roars and counts in english & french! More updates from up north coming soon...
